Description: I created a task for myself a long time ago. That task was that someday I would revisit my old photos from Waimea Bay. Partly to analyze, reflect, look at the photos with a different set of google eyes and reminisce at the big surf and big waves back then. And ... also to compare my photographic technical skills (if any) from then and now.

Some of the photos are a little grainny, I didn't shoot in RAW format back then because I didn't have enough money for expensive memory cards and i also didn't have good equipment.

This is Re-Birth of the Giants. Big Waves and Big Surf from Waimea Bay Feb 05, '06. Taken with the Canon EOS Rebel XT and Canon EF 100-400 IS L.
